1949年10月1日下午,中央美术学院的董希文在天安门城楼上目睹了开国大典的壮观场面后,萌发了创作激情。于是,他从1952年开始,到1953年创作完成了长4.25米,高3.33米的巨幅油画《开国大典》,被毛主席称赞道:有我们民族的气派。1959年国庆10周年时,《开国大典》油画作品被选作系列纪忿邮票之一的票图,搬上了“国家名片”(纪71)。去年,此票又以“票中票”形式出现在1999-20《20世纪回顾》第5图“开国大典”上。
On the afternoon of October 1, 1949, Dong Xiwen from the Central Academy of Fine Arts witnessed a passion for creation after witnessing the spectacular scenes of the founding ceremony in the watchtower of Tiananmen Square. Thus, he started from 1952 to 1953 to complete the creation of a giant painting of 4.25 meters in height and 3.33 meters in height. The Chairman Mao Zedong praised: There is a style of our nation. On the 10th anniversary of the National Day of 1959, the oil paintings of “Founding Grand Ceremony” were chosen as one of the series of one-of-a-kind stamps and moved onto the “national card” (Ji 71). Last year, the vote was presented as “Vote in Form” in the “Opening Ceremony” of Figure 5 of the 1999-20 “Review of the 20th Century.”
