Due to the cold and dry outdoors in winter in the northern regions, most outdoor sports are not suitable for the students. Students spend most of their time in classrooms with dense staff and difficult-to-circulate air. In winter, the indoor and outdoor temperatures are large, and the human body needs to consume more energy to adapt. Changes in temperature are also more susceptible to bacterial infestation. In order to improve students’ resistance and quality of learning, we need to use long-distance running as an effective method in winter. Long-distance running in winter can effectively train people’s cardiopulmonary function. Long-term running will make muscles move vigorously, and the demand for oxygen and nutrients in blood will increase greatly.
