On May 12, 2008, a magnitude 8 earthquake suddenly struck Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province, China. This earthquake disaster was the most serious one since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. It has unprecedented casualties and destructive conditions as a result of heavy casualties. . Immediately before the disaster, the party and state leaders immediately led the people throughout the country in successfully implementing public crisis management. The earthquake relief was the most timely, humane and successful one against natural disasters since the founding of the People’s Republic. Through this earthquake relief, it has made our country recognized as a country that has been very mature in dealing with public crises, marking that our country has reached a maturity in the area of emergency management.
