重油粘度高,雾化条件差,燃烧困难。理论和实践表明,在重油中掺入一定比例的水,并使水份以直径为1~4微米的水珠均匀地悬浮于油中,则可成为“油包水型”的乳化油,这种乳化油燃烧的明显特征是所谓“微爆现象”。微爆也叫“二次雾化”,可使粗大的油珠进一步碎裂,有利于强化燃烧,提高燃烧的完全程度。此外,大量油珠的微爆,使燃烧室内的流场受到扰动,可增加紊流度,对促进油气混合有利。重油乳化燃烧既可节能,也可减轻污染物的排放,是一项值得重视和推广的燃烧技术。本文主要讨论在不加乳化剂的情况下重油乳化特性及推广使用中值得注意的问题。
