A large number of archaeological data show that in the Dawenkou Culture period, from early to late had popular prevalent tooth extraction. There has been discussion in academia about this practice. In general, the formation of a custom often has its specific historical roots and is constrained by the human factors and natural factors of that time. Therefore, the same kind of custom, because of its historical period, geographical region and ethnic differences, the contents of the reflected and the meaning will be different. As far as tooth extraction practices are concerned, it is not limited to the fact that many ethnic groups in different parts of the country popularized one after another. The prevalence of tooth extraction during the Dawenkou Culture period is different from the prevalence of tooth extraction practices in different periods, regions and ethnic groups to a certain extent, regardless of the location, quantity, method of tooth extraction or its causes.
