龙怀,位于广西中北部荔浦县龙怀乡的一个小山谷中,当地人称为“鸟过不拉屎”的一个贫瘠地方,然而海外赤子们却对它情有独钟。2004年4月17日至20日, 全球300多位知名华商巨子聚集在这里, 举办了首次世界华商国际投资论坛,探讨全球投资相关课题,龙怀被定为世界华商国际投资论坛永久性地址。此后,龙怀成为闻名海外华人的胜地,每年都有大批华人、华商前来参观。龙怀,这个沉默千年的地方,为何海外华商们对它情有独钟?
Longhuai, located in a small valley in Longhuai Township, Lipu County, north-central Guangxi, is known to locals as a barren land where “birds do not shit.” However, they are attracted to overseas reds. From April 17 to April 20, 2004, over 300 well-known Chinese businessman giants gathered here to hold the first World Chinese Entrepreneurs International Investment Forum to discuss global investment related issues. Longhuai was designated as the permanent address of the World Chinese Entrepreneurs International Investment Forum. Since then, Longhuai has become a famous overseas Chinese resort, a large number of Chinese every year, Chinese businessmen came to visit.
