The Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee has sounded the horn of deepening the overall reform and demonstrated the confidence and determination in deepening the reform in an all-round way. This article analyzes the important role of protecting and improving the people’s livelihood in the future reform and development in China and makes some thinking and exploration on how to safeguard and improve people’s livelihood.
