晏济元(济原),名平,号素贞老人、老济、济公、江州散人,生于一九○一年,四川内江人。一九三○年其仿石涛作品与张大千作品一起参加柏林中德美展。后东渡日本,就读于日本铁道讲习所、早稻田大学、东京大学。七十年代后,晏先生遍游祖国名川大山写生,先后在北京、香港、上海、汕头、深圳、顺德、成都、东莞等地举办个展,反响强烈。二○○五年在广东美术馆举办晏济元书画精中品展。晏济元的书画有着独特风格,他历来主张『学古敌古,创新破新』,在绘画上强调『学画必先学书,书成而后学画』。
Yan Ji Yuan (Jiyuan), Ming Ping, prime Suchen Zhen, Lao Ji, Jigong, Jiangzhou scattered, born in 1901, Neijiang, Sichuan. In 1930, his imitation Shi Tao’s works and Zhang Daqian’s works participated in the Berlin Sino-German Art Exhibition. After East to Japan, studying at the Japan Railway Institute, Waseda University, Tokyo University. After the seventies, Mr. Yan traveled to the Great Wall of the Motherland and went on a solo exhibition in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shantou, Shenzhen, Shunde, Chengdu and Dongguan. In 2005, he held the Fine Art Exhibition of Yan Ji-yuan Fine Art at Guangdong Art Museum. Yan Jiyuan’s calligraphy and painting has a unique style. He has always advocated “studying ancient antiquities and breaking new ground with innovation.”
