传统模拟广播作为信息传播的一种手段,以方便快捷的特性为大众服务。随着科技的不断进步,人们对广播服务提出了更高的要求,如服务内容形式单一,音质有待改善等等。因此,模拟技术向数字技术转型、实施数字广播是广播技术发展的必然趋势,它将传统模拟广播的单一声音业务拓展为能同时传递各种诸如图像、文字、数据、图片及活动影像等数字业务,为传统广播业务的发展开辟了崭新的应用空间。全球地面无线电广播正在向数字技术转型,不同地区的转型方式各不相同,比如美国正在采用HDRadio技术(高清无线电广播);加拿大、部分欧洲国家(其中包括英国和德国)、亚洲部分地区、澳大利亚和非洲采用的是数字音频广播(DAB);韩国采用的是数字媒体广播(DMB),另外,还有一种数字无线电广播(DRM)技术。本刊编辑部对几种主要的数字广播技术进行简要介绍、摘录技术要点,旨在提供一点借鉴。
