The method for the determination of trace selenium with catalytic spectrophotometry in the system of potassium chlorate-phenylhydrazine hydrochloride-naphthalene ethylenediamine hydrochloride is introduced. The method has the advantages of high sensitivity, good reproducibility and convenient operation.
