我本没有养花的兴致和爱好,原来的几盆名贵花卉都在我手里断了性命。或因为忘了浇水而枯死,或因为天已冷了还懒得搬到屋里而被冻死。九十年代初的一个春天,一位守卫南疆的战友,千里迢迢转送我一棵山影,开始并没有引起我的注意,只是把它栽在盆里,放在檐下的一个偏僻的角落,那山影活象一个被母亲遗弃的孩子,孤苦伶丁,悲悲切切的。
