随着国际间交流的日益扩大,艺术院校学生参与的国际间的演出越来越多,学生英语使用的频率在增加,这种形势对于艺术院校英语教学也提出了更高的要求。针对艺术院校学生英语学习的特点,高校英语教学除了开展第一课堂教学以外,还应积极发展英语第二课堂,以此发展学生对英语学习的兴趣,提高学生学习英语的积极性,促进艺术院校学生英语水平的提高。艺术院校除了开展英语口语、听说、英语角等在普通院校进行的第二课堂活动,还可以开展与本学校的特色相关的活动,如英语音乐剧、英美电影赏析等。
