阅读能够培养一个人在脑子里面还原出一个故事的能力。由于文字的抽象性特点,人们在读书的时候离不开思考和想象,这在无形中培养了人的想象力。举一个例子,你读《红楼梦》,读到贾宝玉陪贾政游览大观园的时候,可以把大观园的地图以及里面的大致景物给想象出来。场景的复现是一个很重要的思维能力,当你能够复现别人的场景的时候,你也应该能够把自己看到的真实的场景抽象成文字,我们也可以把这个叫做创造力。
Reading can cultivate the ability of a person to restore a story in his head. Due to the abstract nature of the text, people can’t live without thinking and imagination when they are reading books.
