文章对步进式包络跟踪功率放大器(SET-PA)的宏模型进行了建立分析。基于SET-PA的特殊特点,对时间误差补偿进行了研究。使用一种基于最小均方误差(MMSE)的自适应时延估计的方法估计包络跟踪功率放大器(ET-PA)中两路之间的时间差值。数据结果显示,SET-PA的电压档数对包络支路的低通滤波器对功放带来的记忆效应的影响较为敏感。仿真结果显示,使用最小均方误差的方法去补偿ET-PA的时间差,可以使ACPR提高6.7d B,而且带来更快的收敛速度和更低的EVM。
The paper builds the macro model of step envelope tracking power amplifier (SET-PA). Based on the special features of SET-PA, time error compensation is studied. A method based on MMSE (Minimum Mean Square Error) adaptive delay estimation is used to estimate the time difference between two paths in an envelope tracking power amplifier (ET-PA). The data results show that the voltage stalls of SET-PA are sensitive to the memory effect of the LPF of the envelope branch on the amplifier. The simulation results show that using minimum mean square error to compensate the time difference of ET-PA can increase ACPR by 6.7d B, and bring faster convergence rate and lower EVM.
