2012年7月25日,国务院召开常务会议,研究部署进一步实施促进中部地区崛起战略,讨论通过了《关于大力实施促进中部地区崛起战略的若干意见》。会议指出,包括山西、安徽、江西、河南、湖北和湖南6省在内的中部地区,在国家区域发展格局中占有举足轻重的战略地位,要求继续大力实施促进中部地区崛起战略,更加注重转型发展和协调、可持续发展,着力激发中部地区内需潜能,进一步拓展发展空间,努力实现中部地区全面崛起。
On July 25, 2012, the State Council held a standing meeting to study the deployment and further implementation of the strategy of promoting the rise of the central region, and discussed and approved the “Opinions on Vigorously Implementing the Strategy of Promoting the Rise of the Central Region.” The meeting pointed out that the central region including Shanxi, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei and Hunan Provinces occupies a pivotal position in the development pattern of the country’s regional development. It also urged that vigorous implementation of the strategy of promoting the rise of the central region should be vigorously pursued and that greater attention be paid to restructuring and development Coordinated and sustainable development, focus on stimulating the potential for domestic demand in the central region, to further expand the space for development and strive to achieve the full rise of the central region.
