2003年12月初,我以唐山市冬泳协会副主席、开滦工会副主席的身份,去参加香港冬泳锦标赛和冬泳论谈会议,结识了我国港、澳、台和内地十二个省市及东南亚各国华侨组成的冬泳代表团的团、队长。在1500人的冬泳比赛中,我和开滦的王允成、王瑞存等三人,在香港的黄金泳滩,面向大海游向新咖啡湾终点,胜利游完了800米全程,荣获“香港冬泳总会表彰证书”及奖品,并应邀在香港汉宝酒楼举办的冬泳论谈会议上发言。会上,除了交流冬泳的体会,我还向大家介绍了开滦在中国象棋、篮球、乒乓球和冬泳等大众体育活动的开展情况,并朗诵了《矿工和太阳》的小诗,得到了与会代表
In early December 2003, I took the position of Vice Chairman of Tangshan Winter Swimming Association and Vice Chairman of Kailuan Trade Union to attend the Hong Kong Winter Swimming Championships and Winter Swimming Conference to meet 12 provinces and municipalities in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and the Mainland as well as Southeast Asia Groups and captains of winter swimming delegation composed of overseas Chinese from various countries. In 1500 winter swimming competitions, I and Kailuan Wang Yuncheng, Wang Rui Cun and other three people in Hong Kong’s Golden Beach, facing the sea towards the end of the new Cafe Bay, the victory tour finished 800 meters full, won the “Hong Kong Winter Swimming Federation commended Certificates ”and prizes, and was invited to speak at Winter Swim Conference held in Hong Kong’s Hamburger Restaurant.
