在激烈的医疗市场竞争中,综合性大医院凭借着雄厚的经济实力,先进的设备、人才、技术优势极其迅速地发展,取得了明显的社会效益和经济效益。而中医院因种种原因,如中西医不能并重,长期处于从属地位,中医信仰率不高,社会环境的制约,特色难以体现等等,门诊人次、住院人数逐年下降,甚至达到难以维持的局面。中医院要摆脱在改革中进退维谷的境地,必须面对医疗市场,将自己的经营模式纳入商品经济市场中去辨证施治。
