In natural language processing, machine translation is one of the earliest research topics. Far as computerized computers were introduced in 1946, British engineer A.D. Booth and American engineer W. Weaver came up with the idea of using computers for machine translation. In 1954, Georgetown University in the United States in collaboration with the International Business Machines Corporation, with the IBM-701 computer for the first time in the world machine translation test, the first time the Russian machine translated into English. In the 1950s, there was a boom in machine translation around the world. However, in the mid-1960s, the American Language Automatic Processing Advisory Committee (ALP-AC) published a black book entitled “Language and Machines” that denied the possibility of practical translation and led to the translation of machine translation in many countries
