据《简氏防务周刊》报道,北约已推迟为单兵自卫武器制定标准口径的计划。北约原本计划在2002年年底前,作出在德国HK公司的4.6×30mm枪弹与比利时FN公司的5.7×28mm SS190枪弹之间的选择,而现在,北约官员寄希望于今年年底就统一口径问题达成一致意见。
According to “Jane's Defense Weekly” reported that NATO has postponed the development of standard caliber programs for individual self-defense weapons. NATO had originally planned to make the choice between a 4.6x30mm bullet in a German HK company and a 5.7x28mm SS190 bullet in a FN company in Belgium by the end of 2002. Now NATO officials are hoping to reach an agreement on a unified caliber by the end of this year opinion.
