于去年10～11月间,一则特大新闻广传于全国各地,一些新闻媒介相继予以报导,这就是一杆清代红木古秤被大世界基尼斯总部授予“最大红木杆秤”的称号,发给了“大世界基尼斯之最”的收藏证书,并载入我国出版的“基尼斯之最画册”。 这只杆秤叫“同治古秤”,为单纽绳红木杆秤,于清同治七年(1868年)由赵大兴制作。该秤的秤杆长2.37米,最粗处直经6.6厘米,砣重23.4公斤,钩重1.2公斤,杆重5.5公斤,起秤点100市斤,最大秤量刻度46O市斤。秤花用银钉镶嵌,图样精美。 该秤被发现后,我国著名鉴尝家谢稚柳先生为其题写了“第一秤”,众多名家也为其题了词。该秤开创了我国衡器领域中的第一个基尼斯之最及文物收藏品中的第一个基尼斯之最。目前,该秤由上海海杭实业贸易公司收藏。
