刘伟光1960年生于江苏常州,江苏省美术家协会会员。1991年—1992年深造于中央美术学院,作品多次入选全国性美展,许多作品被海内外人士收藏。定居上海后,画家以创作大量反映上海城市风貌油画著称,他用自己的视角就如何表现现代化都市的精神作了有益的探索,并取得可喜成绩,获得业内外广泛好评。平常人司空见惯、视而不见的情景,经他的慧眼“过滤”后,便能演绎出一幅幅美妙的图画来。高耸入云的大厦群在他的画笔下,变幻成大气磅礴、潇洒脱俗的大写意,意境幽远,十分耐看。
Liu Weiguang was born in 1960 in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Province Artists Association. From 1991 to 1992, he studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His works have been selected into national art exhibitions many times. Many works have been collected by people from home and abroad. After settling in Shanghai, the painter is famous for creating a large number of oil paintings that reflect the urban style of Shanghai. From his own perspective, he made useful explorations on how to represent the spirit of a modern metropolis and has made gratifying achievements and won wide acclaim both at home and abroad. Ordinary people commonplace, the sight of the scene, through his eye “filter ”, you can deduce a wonderful picture. Towering buildings under his brush, changing into magnificent, elegant and freehand sense of the word, the mood far, very patiently.
