电影从诞生之日起就是一门以娱乐为目的具有商业性质的艺术体裁,而不是教材。英文电影作为一种新颖并且具有独特功能的教学资源,弥补了传统英语教学的不足。然而,由于教师对于电影这种新型教学资源的掌握还不够成熟,教学的方式和方法仍在探索之中,英文电影在大学英语教学中的有效性尚未得以充分体现。鉴于电影区别于传统教材的特殊性,教师在选择教学影片时,应该以接受美学作为理论支持与衡量标准,深刻挖掘电影潜在的巨大的教学效能。
From its birth, the film is a commercial art genre for entertainment, not a textbook. As a novel and unique teaching resource, English movie makes up for the shortage of traditional English teaching. However, since teachers are not yet mature enough to master the new teaching resources such as movies, the ways and means of teaching are still being explored. The effectiveness of English movies in college English teaching has not yet been fully demonstrated. In view of the particularity that the movie differs from the traditional teaching materials, teachers should take aesthetics as the theoretical support and measure to choose the teaching films, and deeply excavate the potentially huge teaching effectiveness of the film.
