该书由北京师范大学周桂钿教授撰写，河北人民出版社出版。作者在书中通过对大量史实的科学分析，雄辩地指出，思想统一，儒学的积极进取精神和仁爱宽厚态度已成为中华民族的优秀传统，同时产生极强的民族凝聚力。中国现在的政治局势和思想传统，都是秦汉时代开始逐渐形成的。
The book is written by Professor Zhou Guijie from Beijing Normal University and published by Hebei People’s Publishing House. Through a scientific analysis of a large number of historical facts, the author eloquently argues that the unification of ideas, the positive spirit of Confucianism and the generous and benevolent attitude of Confucianism have become the fine traditions of the Chinese nation and meanwhile generate extremely strong national cohesion. The current political situation and ideological tradition in China are all gradually taking shape in the Qin and Han dynasties.
