TMS320DM642DSP是TI公司新近推出的一款高性能数字多媒体处理器,它的两级高速缓存(Cache)结构为高复杂度视频编码算法的高效率实现提供了有力的保证。综合考虑视频编码算法特点和Cache结构特征实现的算法,能够满足系统整体需求和指标要求。本文首先简要介绍DM642的Cache结构特点,然后针对视频编码算法的高复杂度,提出一种Cache优化策略,能够很好的解决应用系统中的实时实现问题。
TMS320DM642DSP is a high performance digital multimedia processor recently introduced by TI Company. Its two-level cache structure provides a powerful guarantee for the high-efficiency implementation of high-complexity video coding algorithms. Considering the characteristics of the video coding algorithm and the algorithm of the Cache structure feature, it can meet the overall system requirements and index requirements. In this paper, we firstly introduce the structure of Cache in DM642, and then propose a Cache optimization strategy for the high complexity of video coding algorithm, which can solve the problem of real-time implementation in application system.
