Turbine is a high-speed rotating machinery, usually leaving static and dynamic clearance in three parts: the end of the shaft, between the baffle inner circle and the main shaft, the turbine through-flow part. In order to reduce steam leakage and improve steam turbine efficiency, a steam seal to block steam flow is provided at each gap.
