我厂热处理使用的一台苏制K-90型淬火炉,工艺温度850℃,输送链主轴为空心水冷结构,轴端两侧为φ48×38四层密封结构,如图1所示。由于依靠径向过盈密封,所以过盈量很大。由于密封处靠近炉墙,工作温度达120℃左右,橡胶圈极易老化。工作时导水管不旋转,时间一长,密封内孔磨损,产生泄漏,影响电炉安全运行和现场文明生产。平均一个月需更换一次密封。检修时必须停炉,热能浪费大。由于密封空间小,轴内温度高,外环密封紧,不易拆卸,轴内余水汽化还容易烫伤人。
