20万千瓦汽轮机组的液力耦合器齿轮于1985年10月28日发现振动突然增大,声音不正常。解体后,发现被动小齿轮有23个轮齿发生断裂,大部分断口表面存有锈斑,轴瓦严重烧伤及磨损,仅零件的更换等费用达15万元。经宏观、金相、电镜、应力及断裂力学等分析,作者认为:事故的主要原因是润滑油中渗水,降低了润滑性能,使轴瓦逐渐磨损,间隙增大,轮轴振动,轮齿应力增大,其端面处应力更大,油中水份的腐蚀作用更加剧了裂纹的形成及扩展。加强齿轮润滑油的保护,防止水的渗透,是防止类似事故的主要措施。
