The crown size, crown length, breadth, fullness and projection ratio of crown and Pinus sylvestris var. Mongolica and middle age plantation were closely related to the tree growth or individual size. The height of canopy is a common phenomenon in young and middle-aged plantations of Pinus sylvestris var. Mongolica. The dynamic distribution of canopy projection ratio (CW / D1 3) is approximately normal distribution
