广佛经济的无缝对接既是新世纪广、佛双城相互补充、共同发展的必然要求,也是广佛双城在新的城市群竞争下突出重围的现实选择。从宏观讲,广佛合作将直接关系“泛珠三角地区”能否成为21世纪引领东南亚经济发展的助推器与发动机。
The seamless connection between Guangfo and the economy is not only the necessary requirement for complementarity and common development of both Guanghou and Shuangcheng in the new century, but also a realistic choice for Guangfo and Shuangcheng to stand out from the competition in the new urban agglomeration. From a macro perspective, Guangfo cooperation will have a direct bearing on whether the Pan-Pearl River Delta region will become the booster and engine leading the economic development in Southeast Asia in the 21st century.
