In order to understand the impact of traditional Chinese culture on contemporary Beijing youth, the Beijing Youth Research Institute, the Youth Research Office of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the Beijing Youth Research Association formed a joint investigation team. During November 1993-January 1994, Beijing aged 14-30 years old conducted a survey. The survey was mainly based on questionnaires, using stratified sampling method, a total of 600 questionnaires were sent to collect valid questionnaires 448 copies.
