英语对于我国的汉语来说是一门新语言,而该语言承载的不仅仅是不同国家的文化差异,同时还承载着不同国家的思维方式,因此在学习上,英语的学习质量还取决于对文化的理解程度。在大学英语教学中,各个教学内容大多局限于现有的课程教材上,学生所触及的知识领域十分窄,再加之受传统教学理念的长期影响,学生的英语思维也难以得到拓展,这对学生英语水平的提升来说必然造成了许多阻碍。对此,为改善这一问题,大学英语在教学过程中需对教学目的有着明确方向,并打破传统的教学界限,开展跨文化意识培养,将英语语言与文化进行完美衔接,从而提高学生的英语思维能力,掌握更多的英语知识。为进一步探讨该话题,本文对大学英语教学中跨文化意识的培养方法展开探讨。
English is a new language for Chinese, and the language carries not only the cultural differences between different countries, but also the way of thinking in different countries. Therefore, the quality of learning in English depends on the Cultural understanding. In college English teaching, most of the teaching contents are mostly confined to the existing teaching materials. The areas of knowledge touched by students are very narrow. In addition, due to the long-term influence of the traditional teaching philosophy, students’ English thinking can hardly be expanded. English is bound to cause many obstacles to improve. In this regard, in order to ameliorate this problem, college English must have a clear direction in the teaching process for teaching purposes, break the traditional teaching boundaries, cultivate cross-cultural awareness, perfect English language and culture, and improve students’ English Thinking skills, master more knowledge of English. In order to further explore this topic, this article explores the cultivation of cross-cultural awareness in college English teaching.
