2004年秋季开学伊始,南京市某中学初中部的学生每做一件好事,都会得到老师送的一张与普通银行卡一般大小的硬纸的“道德银行”储蓄卡,卡上印着“阳光洒满校园,道德永驻心间”的字样。到该学期结束时,校团委将统计每位学生得到“道德银行”卡的数量,凡拿到“道德银行”卡数量多的同学就有机会获得“道德银行小卫士”的称号并受到表彰。报载,由于“道德银行”卡数量有限,不是所有做好事的学生都能拿到,所以班干部们会在班级日志上记录,在学期末评优时可以加分。一个时期以来,校园“道德银行”在国内呈现出遍地开花的态势。如浙江、湖南、江西等地都设有“道德银行”。而湖南湘潭大学的雷锋公司也是“道德银行“的一种表现形式。顾名思义,所谓“道德银行”,就是储存道德的银行,它是根据在校大中小学生参加青年志愿者活动、社会公益活动等情况,将学生们在这些活动中的表现,按一定标准转换成“道德币”的形式存入“银行”,作为其在“道德银行”中的储蓄。
