随着社会的发展,文化的进步,群众经济生活水平的提高,人们对于本地的地方文献资料的收集与整理工作越来越重视。高校图书馆作为某个区域文献资料的集中地,对于地方的文献资料的整理与收藏工作肩负着一定的时代使命。地方文献资料是反映某一地方的社会、文化、历史、自然环境等方面的资料的综合,在新时期的发展过程中,对地方文献资料的保护利用不仅是文化传承的需要,同时也是经济社会发展的需要。在高校图书馆中建立地方资料室,也是建设图书馆特色馆藏的发展需要。本文就高校图书馆的地方资料馆建设进行探讨。
