《文史知识》1994年第4期“读书札记”栏载有《“传胪”的出典》一文,文中引录了《万国公报》的一篇报导。大概标点系作者所加。其中有一句话,因不明其意故无法断句。即第91页第13行:“京兆尹亲为状元换车(原文如此)。渠顶插金花,十字披红。”“车”字连在上句,还可讲得通;但“渠顶插金花”又无法解释。作者可能疑为错字或脱字,加注了(原文如此)四字。据笔者所知,清制,状元及第照例均授翰林院修撰。修撰是正六品官,故上文有:“第一甲第一名某……引至左班正六品品级山跪”。清代官员帽顶是按品级区分的,六品应戴车渠顶。车渠一

One sentence, because of unknown meaning can not be sentenced. That line 91 on the 91st page: “Beijing Katherine Yin pro for the champion car change (original text so.) The author may suspect that the word is wrongly typed or removed from the word. As far as I know, the Qing Dynasty, the champion and the usual cases are granted by the Academy of Sciences. Xiu-an is a positive six product officer, so the above: “First A first name ... lead to the left class is sixth grade grade kneeling ”.
