作者应用扫描电子显微镜,对海相碳酸盐岩样品进行微观研究时,发现在某些碳酸盐岩中有许多球状微粒,其形态呈单体球状、集合体球状、支链状及片状等。球状微粒具有较高的圆度,直径相近似,个体直径一般在0.5μ左右。经电子探针证实,球状微粒为碳物质,我们定名为球状微粒有机质。关于球状微粒有机质的成因,还不十分清楚。
When using the scanning electron microscope to study the microstructure of marine carbonate samples, it was found that there are many spherical particles in some carbonate rocks. The morphology of the carbonates is spherical, aggregates globular, branched and flaky Wait. Spherical particles with high circularity, similar to the diameter, the individual diameter of about 0.5μ. The electron probe confirmed that the spherical particles of carbon material, we named the spherical particulate organic matter. About the origin of spherical particles of organic matter, is not yet very clear.
