Ester: How did you embark on the path to literary creation, Ms. Kirsch? Kirsch: At Halle University, I studied biology, literature, drama and concerts as well as ordinary people. In Halle I joined a literary society of young writers, and my ex-husband, Lena Kirsch, was also a member of the society. The club meets twice a month, Gerhard Wolfe, who heads the club and who is a wise, commented talented mentor. Out of inner impulses, I began my literary creation when I read only the poetry published in the newspapers.
