认知语言学诞生于20世纪70年代末期,是语言学的一门分支学科,主要是从人的认知角度来理解语言的产生、习得和使用的,且研究语言的普遍原则和人的认知规律之间的关系。而且认知语言学作为一门新学科,不仅为语言研究提供了全新的视角和方法,还逐渐取代结构主义语言学而成为主流学派。而本文接下来着重介绍的是认知语言理论的发展及应用。
