器件模型的建立是电路计算机辅助设计的重要组成部分。所谓器件模型的建立,是指用计算机能够识别的数学关系或等效电路来近似物理器件(即实际电路元件)的特性。器件模型选择得合理与否将直接影响电路分析的精度和效率,对分析精度的要求越高,所需器件模型就越复杂,而采用复杂的器件模型又将导致对机器存贮量要求以及计算时间的增加。因此,在选择器件模型时必须对精度和效率作折衷考虑,在保证所要求的分析精度的条件下应采用尽可能简单的器件模型,而且在器件的不同工作状态下应该采用不同类型的模型。
