2013年4月6日至8日,由上海交通大学人文学院和英国曼彻斯特大学艺术、历史与文化学院联合举办的第三届中英马克思主义美学双边论坛在上海交通大学成功举行。本次论坛围绕“马克思主义与未来”这一主题,在马克思主义与中西美学的历史传统与现实境遇的结合点上思考马克思主义在未来社会建设中的作用与地位,以及美学在这种可能性面前面临的问题、挑战与任务。来自伦敦大学、比利时鲁汶大学、美国杜克大学、瑞士欧洲研究院、俄罗斯圣彼得堡大学、澳大利亚莫纳什大学、英国利兹大学、英国曼彻斯特大学等17所海外高校及北京大学、复旦大学、浙江大学、吉林大学、厦门大学、武汉大学、山东大学、中国传媒大学等20多所国内高校的近百位专家学者参加。会议在上海交通大学闵行校区的人文学院报告厅举行,副校长徐飞教授出席论坛并致辞,他高度评价了双边论坛的学术交流形式对促进马克思主义理论研究和发展的意
From April 6 to April 8, 2013, the 3rd Sino-British Marxist Aesthetic Bilateral Forum was jointly held by the Humanities School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the School of Arts, History and Culture of the University of Manchester, UK. The forum was successfully held in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Focusing on the theme of “Marxism and the Future”, this forum considers the role and status of Marxism in the future social construction at the combination of Marxist tradition with the historical tradition of the aesthetics of both China and the West as well as the relationship between aesthetics and this aesthetic The problems, challenges and tasks facing the possibility. From 17 universities and colleges including University of Leuven in Belgium, Leuven in Belgium, Duke University in the United States, European Institute of Europe in Switzerland, St. Petersburg University in Russia, Monash University in Australia, University of Leeds in England and University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, Peking University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Jilin University, Xiamen University, Wuhan University, Shandong University, Communication University of China more than 20 domestic colleges and universities, nearly 100 experts and scholars attended.
