The book “Flame Retardant Mixtures” describes the Unigard ™ family of products in the Expanded Series of Flame Retardant Polyethylene Blends for Communication Cables and describes them in the datasheet. These blends are used in thermoplastic solid insulation and foam insulation, thermoplastic sheathing and crosslinked sheathing. They all have excellent electrical and physical properties inherent in polyethylene materials, as well as good extrudability and compatibility.
