1996年是奥林匹克年,7月19日至8月4日第26届奥运会将在美国的南部城市亚特兰大举行,这也是本世纪最后一届奥运会。为了配合宣传奥运会,本刊从今年第一期开始推出“奥运纵横”栏目,“奥运纵横”栏作为体育教师宣传奥林匹克运动的辅助资料,将突出知识性、趣味性的特点,同时也希望广大体育教师抓住这个契机,搞好宣传工作,促进学校体育的开展。
1996 is the Olympic year, July 26 to August 4, the 26th Olympic Games will be held in the southern city of Atlanta in the United States, which is the last Olympic Games this century. In order to tie in with the promotion of the Olympic Games, this issue of the Olympic Games has been launched since the first phase of this year.
