开发新产品可以为企业增添活力,为市场增加花色品种,为消费者提供更多更好的商品产品,推进社会经济的发展与技术的进步,是一件利国利民又有益于企业的大好事。因此,国家对开发新产品采取鼓励政策,给予资金上的支持和税收方面的优惠。不少企业由于在新产品开发中下功夫,以新立足,以新取胜,取得了发展。但是,仍有不少企业家,把开发新产品视为险事,好似高山上的红辣椒——看看惹人喜,危途引人惧。分析其缘由,这里有技术上的难题;有企业生产场地的限制;有体制上的原因;也有因产品“调头”带来对产值、利润影响的困难;还有一些人认为老产品仍有市场,而且产值利润率高于新产品。这里涉及到问题的核心,即新产品的经济效益问题。
