8Cr2MnWMoVS钢属于易切削精密模具钢,本文介绍了该钢的成分设计,基本性能(包括相变点、奥氏体等温转变曲线)、热处理工艺性能、机械性能等;还扼要地介绍了钢的热处理变形率,预硬态的切削加工情况,表面抛光性和氮化处理性能;并对试验钢在部分工厂的生产使用情况作了介绍。 8Cr2MnWMoVS钠的主要特点是:1.在调质硬度HRC42～48时,仍具有良好切削加工性(可进行车、刨、钻、铣、镗),是精密塑料、胶木、橡胶、陶土制品比较理想的专用模具钢。2.该钢在淬火低温回火时硬度达到HRC58～62,热处理变形量小,因此用作薄板精冲模也是较好的模具材料。
