YG-80 rock drill is a heavy rock drilling equipment with high impact energy (18 kg·m), high impact frequency (1750-1800 times/min), and strong vibration at work. When the formation changes and there is no corresponding adjustment of the shaft thrust of the rock drill, the rock drill is more vibrating. The long screw is an attachment screw that connects all parts of the rock drill and is a fastener that attaches the entire rock drill to the carriage for movement with the carriage. The entire long screw is divided into three sections by the two stress-relieving transition zones and is subjected to a tensile force. The weakest part of the long screw is φ20 mm at the end of the shank.
