长白松是我国稀有的珍贵树种,树型优美可供观赏,人们称它“美人松”。同时材质优良,经济价值较高。在我局二道、宝马林场有成片分布的天然林,但为数不多。为了培育扩大长白松林,在一九八一年春天我们进行了直播造林试验。试验地面积800平方米,株行距1×1M,共800穴,成活率达100％,幼苗长势良好。一、试验地概况位置:在白河局二道林场16分区9小班的林间空地上,离公路10米远。土壤:火山灰冲积土,腐植土层3cm,枯枝落叶层2cm。植被:主要有胡枝子、苍术、柴胡、沙草等。
