I and Professor Gao Fanglao are acquainted with each other and worked together for more than 60 years in the same unit. He is both my colleague and my mentor. For decades, his attitude toward scholarship and scholars has deeply influenced me, I tried hard to learn from him and I could not get away with it. He has far exceeded the age of shame and still has more than enough penmanship to envy him. This comes from a healthy body derived from the accumulation of long-term data and from the heart of the innocent who serve the motherland. Professor Gao Fang is a prolific writer and an author.
