语境作为语言使用过程中的重要因素对高职英语阅读教学起着至关重要的作用。在高职英语阅读过程中,语言语境、情景语境、文化语境都起着一定的作用,因而在高职英语阅读教学中,必须注意培养学生的语境意识以及对语境的解构和重构能力,以提高其文章理解能力。本文主要从语境理论入手探讨了语境在英语阅读教学中的应用及其对高职英语阅读教学的启示。
