一、引言光纤通信初期,对光纤性能的要求主要是降低其衰减的研究.在六十年代末到七十年代初,光纤的衰减已低于每公里10分贝.此后因长波长(1.3微米及1.55微米)光源的应用,在“长波波段”,光纤的衰减可低于每公里1分贝.对长距离光纤通信,因色散限制了光纤数字传输的码速,故光纤传输的色散问题便显得突出.
I. INTRODUCTION In the early days of optical fiber communication, the requirement of optical fiber performance was mainly to reduce its attenuation.
