巨峰葡萄生长旺盛,定植后第二年就可结果。栽植前几年易于管理,产量逐渐上升,但五六年后易早衰、落花、落果,座果率低,产量骤减,品质下降。要提高座果率必须采取综合管理措施。一是花期重摘心、掐穗尖。花前7天左右第一次摘心,采用重摘心,并掐掉1/4穗尖及副穗。一般果穗以下副梢应全部去掉,果穗以上副梢留两片叶摘心,并摘掉卷须。在果实迅速膨大期彻底进行一次副梢摘心,疏除小果、畸形果。
