为了通过有性、无性杂交的方法,育成在柑桔栽培上具有抗寒、丰产、质优的早、中、晚熟品种,我们于一九五七年开始进行了柑桔类杂交育种试验。现将十多年来的试验情况整理如下:一、金兰柚×沙田柚杂种:金兰柚味甜脆,品质佳,但性不耐寒。沙田柚抗寒性较强,但果汁少,种籽多。
In order to breed early, middle and late-maturing varieties with cold resistance, high yield and high quality in citrus cultivation by means of sexual and sexless hybridization, we started citrus cross breeding experiment in 1957. Now more than 10 years of test conditions are summarized as follows: First, the Golden Pomelo × Shatian pomelo hybrid: sweet grapefruit crisp, good quality, but not cold. Shatin pomelo cold hardiness, but fewer juices, more seeds.
